I Realize...

I realize that I have to have something I do for myself everyday that feeds my spirit and soul.  Otherwise I would go crazy!   No one else in my life is going to do this for me, nor are they going to care if I do something for myself!

An Alternative to Statin Drugs

An Alternative to Statin Drugs

Call it syncronisity or call it Spirit, but as I was cleaning out some old papers today, I ran across a periodical that we had received months ago talking about the dangers of taking statin drugs to lower LDL as well as very wise alternatives to taking these prescribed drugs.

In this article it talks about a Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi at the University of Chicago Medical School. He brought some Natto (a food popular in Japan) to the lab for lunch one day, and casually put one drop of it into a petri dish containing a blood clot.   He was astonished to see that the natto compoletely dissolved the clot in 18 hours!

Further testing on dogs with blood clots showed that they were clot-free in five hours, but after 18 hours, dogs who got a placebo were as sickly as ever.

Lab tests on humans also showed accelerated clot-dissolving action -- about twice as fast compared to a plasmin-based control group.  And inn just four days, the subjects' blood pressure dropped an average of 10 percent.

This Natto from Japan is now marketed as a suppliment called Nattokinase.

My Decision

It is my decision - and my prerogative to decide how I take care of my body and my life.  And so I am deciding to take Nattokinase suppliments along with some other vitamins.

Nattokinase is my answer to keeping my blood flowing freely without plaque or clotting - and without taking any Statin Drugs!

Here Comes the Doc!

Funny cartoon of urologist medical doctor

... Here Comes the Doc! ...

OK!  I expected this sometime - that call from the doctor's office that I haven't been in for years and it's about time I came in.  That happened 4 days ago - they set me an appointment three weeks from now and want me to come in for blood-work.

First of all, I am not in the medical field at all and I don't profess to know anything about the current medical mafia community and the big-phamasuicidal system.   Yes, I like to through in a little humor on the subject, so it doesn't bother me if anyone is offended by the way I express myself, because I am sick and tired of disclaimers such as, 'only your doctor knows for sure' and 'ask your doctor' before you make any decisions for yourself.

Instead of following everything some doctor tells me to take or do, I take his/her suggestions and bring it to my own Spirit or Soul.

For the last few times I went with my wife to her doctor appointments, fear is what they gave her - fear that this and that will happen if you don't take their big-pharma meds.   So she takes their meds, and nothing happens, and her symptoms get worse.

When my appointment comes, one of the most likely meds they are going to recommend (read 'push') on me will be some kind of statin drug, to lower my LDL cholesterol.   I am a 56 year old male.

Statin Drug Side Effects

The fact that statin drugs cause side effects is well established—there are now 900 studies proving their adverse effects, which run the gamut from muscle problems to increased cancer risk.
For starters, reported side effects include:
  • Muscle problems, polyneuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet), and rhabdomyolysis (a serious degenerative muscle tissue condition)
  • Anemia
  • Acidosis
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Immune depression
  • Pancreas or liver dysfunction, including a potential increase in liver enzymes
  • Cataracts
Muscle problems are the best known of statin drugs' adverse side effects, but cognitive problems and memory loss are also widely reported. A spectrum of other problems, ranging from blood glucose elevations to tendon problems, can also occur. There is evidence that taking statins may even increase your risk for Lou Gehrig's disease.

Sudden Dizziness - Spinning

The other day, on Monday the 2nd, I was sitting there playing backgammon with my wife when all of a sudden the room was spinning around - it was as if my equilibrium suddenly had gotten knocked off its rocker.   There was no pain or warning.   I don't think it was stroke related because it didn't affect any other thing - and my heart was beating normally the whole time.  It was the same feeling when as a kid, you spin around and then suddenly stop and you feel everything still spinning around.  I immediately lied prone and opened my eyes to feel like the ceiling was spinning.  It only lasted a half-a-minute.  This was the second time.  It happened the day before on New Years day.   I am now sitting at work typing this and feel as if this feeling could come as I feel a mild form of it.
What's Happening to me?

Iraqi Dinar - IQD Scam

We have some good friends who are all hyped up; riding the emotional roller coaster having "invested" their money in the IRQ - the Iraqi Dinar.   To me it is sad to see this scam take over their every thought; their every emotion; their every financial plan for their future.   Just today, one of these friends said that Tuesday the 3rd of January (2012) is the "for sure" day when the Dinar will "Re Value" and make her a millionaire.  She said that the reason it has not happened yet is because of the "Illuminate".

In my opinion, they would be better off spending all their hard earned money on lottery tickets.  These scammers somehow manage to emotionally hook their prey with holding out carrots in front - "it's always just a day or two away" - and it has been a day or two away for four or five years now.

Here are some thoughts to consider about the Iraqi Dinar before getting all hyped up and emotional about throwing your money away:

Life's Purpose

Ones life's purpose can only be felt from deep inside ones soul - it cannot be comprehended by the mind.
